Solutions

We supply expertise, experience, scientific knowledge, products and systems engineered to match customer requirements. Our customers want a solution that solves a problem, saves money or at the very least reduces the problem to a manageable level. This is what we provide. We do not sell products to customers if we do not believe our system will solve their problem.

Robop has been used in a very wide variety of applications both in the U.K. and in 15 other countries so far. Customers are almost exclusively large corporations or public bodies but we are always happy to hear from other types of organization.

  • Exchange Place

A team from Robop installing the system at Exchange Place. This is an example of a mains powered system. Waterproof sockets were built into the roof during construction. Mains 240v AC is converted to 12 volt DC which passes via a cable into the robotic falcon. Only 2 falcons are used to cover two large buildings. The system has been a tremendous success.

  • St. Andrews

Overlooking the west bay in St.Andrews during a presentation hosted by the University and Interface which links academic institutions in Scotland to commercial firms both large and small.

  • Street Pigeons

Compared with rate feral pigeons carry seven times as many human transmittable diseases. Yet many people persist in feeding them which is not good for the birds and expensive for local authorities. Robops can be used successfully as part of a pest bird control strategy to tackle this problem.

  • Chickens Saved

Seagulls are not only a menace to humans they cause havoc with young chicks. Gulls would sit on the hatchery roof and swoop down pecking the eyes out of the young birds. Thanks to Robop this no longer happens on this farm.

  • Florida Trial

Blueberry farms can be devastated by cedar waxwings. Descending in large numbers they can destroy a whole seasons blueberry crop costing the farmer a substantial financial loss. The picture shows two Robops on poles attached to an orchard trailer which was moved around the site using a small tractor.

  • Blueberry Farmer

Here the blueberry farmer Bill Peterson admires the Robops. A field trial was conducted in a joint venture between the farmer, local Robop agent and a member of our team from the U.K.
