the Humane Bird Control System

Robop makes it possible to keep birds off your property without turning it into a fortress of nets and spikes, without annoying your neighbours with loud bangs, without harming the birds in any way and crucially for owners of large buildings, at a fraction of the cost of alternative approaches that provide a long term solution.

The Appliance of Science to Bird Control

Robop is an engineering company supported by scientific expertise in the field of bird ecology provided by our science partners at the University of St.Andrews. This is a unique industry / academic partnership providing free of charge expert advise to customers and potential customers.

Does it work? Will it work for us?

Robop has proven its worth again and again in a wide variety of applications saving customers tens of thousands, occasionally millions of pounds, dollars and euros (see clients section). However, Robop is not a panacea for all bird problems. We and our science partners are here to help you decide whether Robop is right for you. So, why not give us a call or drop us an email today.

Innovative Products Built to Last

Robops are built for a long life in a harsh environment. Every one is precision machined and hand built to customer order. Nothing is left to chance. All systems are designed to make installation as simple as possible. So, you get maximum convenience and minimum cost of ownership. Warranties can be extended indefinitely and when you finally have no further use for the bird we can recycle it for you.

How does it work?

Robop works as a bird deterrent by convincing seagull or pigeons for example that it is a real peregrine falcon and therefore they are in mortal danger. Robop looks, moves and sounds just like a real peregrine. It moves its head, flaps its wings and makes one of four calls in a random and unpredictable way. Movements are subtle just as a hunting peregrine.

  • Who uses Robops to solve their bird problems?

  • Why did they choose Robop? The most popular reason for buying Robop is to stop flooding caused by the build up of bird muck in drains. Seagulls in particular can deposit many tons of material on the roof of a large modern building. The conventional approach is to use netting but Robop is more effective, does not restrict roof access and costs much less. Other popular applications include keeping pigeons out of warehouses. There are simply too many different applications to list here so call us if you would like to learn more.
  • What does it cost ? Customers typically spend between £4,000 and £40,000 on their Robop installation. Costs depend on the number of Robops required, how they are mounted and whether they are battery, mains or solar powered. We ship products all over the world and have sent engineers to places as far apart as Florida, Sicily and Thailand. Call to discuss your project.
